Thanks, Asaf! I believe a happy medium can be reached. Let's say, for example, that there's a table and the available options are to Edit, View, Copy, and Delete a row.

I certainly wouldn't expect having all of those options display all the time. At the same time, though, there needs to be some indication that there are options available without having to hover over a row. This can be a simple as an ellipsis button that displays those actions when clicked.
